Our story
One of the first modern tape makers in the Middle East
Founded in 1996, Tuftape became one of the first modern manufacturers of surface protection and specialty adhesive tapes, serving the growing construction and industrial sectors of the Middle East. Today it is a recognised regional brand.
Our facility in the Jebel Ali Free Zone combines a coating line, rotogravure printing, and slitting, rewinding and packaging equipment, which lets us customise colour, size, depth and performance. A skilled R&D team keeps developing new tapes, and our products reach customers across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Asia-Pacific through a network of agents.

Three decades of making tape in the Gulf
1996
Humble beginnings
Founded as the first company in the GCC with multi-purpose coating lines for pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes.
2002
Innovation
First to introduce surface protection tapes made entirely in the UAE, using rubber-based and solvent-based adhesives.
2005
Branded tapes
Installed rotogravure printing lines so customers can add branding and logos to adhesive tapes.
2010
Wider range
Began manufacturing PSA tapes for HVAC, including duct, masking and aluminium and FSK foil tapes.

Expansion
New converting unit with three lines, and the Tuftape brand launched with distributors across the Gulf.
